Grants
Student Research Grants
Student Research Grants are awarded annually to help offset the costs of postgraduate research. They are paid directly to the Heads of Departments to be distributed at their discretion following appropriate protocols.
The details and conditions for these grants are currently being reviewed. The revised details will be available on this website soon.
Special Research Grants
The ongoing fundraising campaign, Foundation for the Future, has resulted in more funds being available for research projects. As a result, the Foundation, after consultation with the Education Committee, is able to offer Special Research Grants.
These do not replace the Research Grants (see above) which are awarded annually to help offset the costs of postgraduate Research. Research Grants are paid directly to the Heads of Departments to be distributed at their discretion. Applications and progress reports for Research Grants must be received by 30th November each year.
Special Research Grants are not available to postgraduate students but rather to those continuing with research studies either at an academic level or as a part time interest. It is to be noted that applicants be current members of the Australian Society of Orthodontists.
