The Riocentro is an integrated convention center with a complex composed of a Convention Center, an Amphitheater, and a 5 Star Hotel. lt was designed and built to host different national and international events.
lt is the most flexible and modern location in South America.

The Convention Center is composed of five pavilions interconnected by 16-meter-wide catwalks. Pavilions 1, 2, 4 and Exhibit Hall were designed to host Fairs and Exhibitions and Pavilion 5 (The Congress Hall), to host Congresses and Conventions.

The entire Riocentro can be used for one large conference or divided into units for partial occupancy. In either case, the necessary privacy and security are assured. One can find a restaurant, medical aid, telecommunications, and parking space for 7,000 cars and 150 buses among the facilities.
Pavilion 3 will be used for the Exhibit Hall and Pavilion 5 for the Lecture Halls.

The motto for this meeting expresses the wish of the WFO and ABOR, to bring the world together after a long period of isolation due to the pandemic. The 9th IOC was held online and in 2025 it will have been 10 years that the WFO has not met in person.
